
William D. Forsyth, CFA
Bill Forsyth earned a Bachelor’s degree (Summa Cum Laude, Bronze Tablet) in finance from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
He received his chartered financial analyst designation in 1991. Prior to Frontier Partners, Bill worked at Brinson Partners from 1987 to 1993 as a Partner and Portfolio Manager involved in business development and client service. Bill is the Immediate Past Chair of the Board of Directors of the University of Illinois Alumni Association and is a member of the University of Illinois Foundation. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Loyola Academy. Bill served as a Director for Horizons for Youth, which helps children from low-resource areas of Chicago achieve success in school and life. He also served as a Board Member of Mobile C.A.R.E. Foundation, an initiative focused on providing asthma, dental and medical care to underserved members of the Chicago community. He is a past board member of Tutoring Chicago. He is a Founder and Director of the New Frontiers Foundation, which serves youths from underresourced neighborhoods in Chicago.

Mark Ziehr, CFA
Mark Ziehr earned a Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking and investments from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from DePaul University.
He received his chartered financial analyst designation in 1999. Prior to Frontier Partners, Mark worked at Mercer Investment Consulting from 2002 to 2005. Prior to Mercer Investment Consulting, Mark worked at the Northern Trust Company from 1996 to 2002.

Dan Lortz
Dan Lortz earned a Bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University. He has over 25 years of financial industry experience helping traditional and alternative asset managers raise assets.
Prior to joining Frontier Partners, Dan worked at SEI Investments from 2000 to 2018 and was responsible for distributing SEI's Manager-of-Manager investment solutions to institutional investors and fee-based registered investment advisors.

Matt Schmelzer, CFA
Matt Schmelzer earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley. He received his chartered financial analyst designation in 2008.
Prior to joining Frontier Partners, Matt worked at Delaware Investments from 2012 to 2016 and was responsible for institutional business development. Prior to Delaware, Matt worked at Callan Associates as an equity research consultant.
